WiWo Installation

Pending a few final approvals, the installation of Wireless Woodstock will begin this week.

The internet connection itself will feed through the Norman Williams Public Library and send signal to three repeaters in the Village that will give WiFi coverage to most of the Green and over to the corner of Elm and Central Streets. We’ll measure the coverage and troubleshoot the system for some time before announcing the official launch, which we hope to schedule before August.

At launch we will have a proof-of-concept that will include coverage as described above and soon thereafter will include the system website, complete with up-to-the-minute information on Woodstock Vermont.
