Launch Activity
A memorable day – from juggling the assistance of carpenters, technicians, shop owners and a wonderfully large cherry picker – to navigating the historic catwalk of the County Courthouse. We owe an enormous thank you to dozens of people who have now made Phase 1 a reality:
– Chippers provided a large cherry picker truck and able-bodied manpower (and great patience).
– George H Funk Builders provided the careful expertise of a full team for a custom install on the library.
– Anaptyx sent a crew to handle all of the technology and mounts to host the access points.
– Carl Tancredi (Windsor County Courthouse), Jeff Kahn (Unicorn) and Bob Crowe (Bentley’s) provided permission and direction as hosts of our Phase One access points.
– And our anonymous 7 donors who generously provided the funds needed to launch this phase.
Our governance committee (who will oversee the service rules and operations) is nearly formed. And we’re prepared for our formal launch to take place next week on the front lawn of the Norman Williams Public Library, on Wednesday July 28 at 9:30am. Come join us!
